Panoramic imagery and photographic tips for shooting nature & landscape…
Abe–Thank you so much for stopping by. You have simply beautiful work. Great eye.
Thank you very much see you around here! 🙂
Very beautiful shot. I’ve never done stiching like this do you have to account for different exposure times as your panorama progresses since the longer into the sunrise well the more sun you’ll have? And also I’m curious did you start left to right or right to left and why?
Same exposures of 4 seconds in each frame. I shot the subject first at center part and moved from left to right. I shot this with no sun in sight yet.
interesting, i’ll have to try this out soon! thanks.
You really should it’s fun. 🙂
Excellent photo! I’ve seen a lot of great images of this lighthouse, and this ranks right up there with the best of them. I STILL haven’t gotten over there to try my hand at it, and I live a lot closer than you.
Of course, the next time you’re in the area you’ll have to stop by the Nubble Light in York, ME. Give Portland Head a run for its money as “most photographed.”
I am really planning to take a week vacation leave and drive to ME to photograph all the lighthouses in the state.
Thanks for dropping a line man.
While you are at it, you might as well stop at the Portsmouth Harbor Light in New Castle, NH. Another popular one. And again, one I have yet to get too.
Thanks. It is really a nice place man. Need to go back there this spring when it’s bit warmer.
The golden reflections on the house windows just brought everything to life… Great spot… Great technique..
Thank you man !
Nice panoramic view!
Thanks for liking my most recent post about the bamboo bike.
Welcome & thank you 🙂
